Class #1 Basic Aromatherapy
WHAT IS AROMATHERAPY? Aromatherapy is the
practice of using essential oils in order to take advantage of their benefits for the body, mind and spirit. Essential
oils have been used therapeutically for hundreds of years but as modern medicines began to appear around the turn of the century
the use of essential oils declined.It is back in motion again, with more and more people looking for a Holistic Approach
for treating their minor aliments and Emotional well-being.
 July 2nd, 1pm - 4pm Basic Aromatherapy: This workshop will provide information
and materials on aromatherapy and the use of essential oils to those with an interest in aromatherapy. Materials for
class will be provided. Each person will recieve an important informative pamplet on aromatherapy and aromatherapy recipies,
measurements, percautions, ect... Plus Earthwise's basic essential oil kit contains - 4 1/2 oz bottles of lavender, pepperment,
eucalyptus, rosemary with 4 amber glass dram mixing bottles, 1 -2 oz bottle of unscented lotion. The cost of this kit

for storing your blends, 2 -1 ounce Unscented lotion. Materials for class will be provided. Each Person will recieve an Important

Body treatments are essentially a "facial" for your whole body. It is just as important to cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate
the skin on your body as it is the skin of your face.

Salt Scrub:
This is an exfoliating treatment that takes place on a massage table covered with a sheet and a large, thin piece
of plastic. As you lay on your stomach, the massage therapist rubs a mixture of sea salt, oil, and aromatics like lemon into
your skin. This removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells and leaves your skin feeling velvety soft.
Once your whole
body is scrubbed, which takes maybe ten or fifteen minutes, the therapist drapes plastic over you and goes away for about
20 minutes while you rest.When she returns you shower it all off without soap, leaving a nice coating of oil.A body-moisturizer
will be applied to nourish and moisturize the skin. An ideal treatment before massage, body treatment or sunbathing.
Seaweed Wrap:
Seaweed Wrap: A firming body wrap treatment. The naturally healing benefits of the sea are used
to help improve body firmness and redefine the figure. Natural Ocean scent. An excellent treatment to metabolic stimulation

Chinese traditional packed moxa rolls are used for direct moxa heat treatment

Hot Stone Treatments
